About me
Before Rowland Hanson became a member of these companies, he served as a Consultant, Chief Executive Officer, President, and a member of the Board of Directors for many companies that went on to be leaders in their industry. Hanson was a successful CEO for the multi-media software publishing company, Amaze Inc., and the multi- media travel directory, iTravel Corporation. Both businesses would be beneficially sold respectively to the Delrina Corporation and StarPress. In addition to successfully negotiating the sales of these companies, Rowland Hanson also lent his skills as a business development consultant, branding consultant, and a board member to further the businesses of ColdHeat and Nautilus, Inc.
Outside of business, Rowland Hanson is currently restoring Santa Barbara’s historic site, Villa de la Guerra. Hanson and his wife bought the villa back in 2003, and decided to make it their own project to restore the historical site for the city of Santa Barbara. Mr. Hanson has spent the last five years in restoring the villa, with the efforts of the Santa Barbara Historic Commission and with the financial backing of the local bank, American Rivera Bank. Up to now, Hanson has made sure that every step of restoration met with the approval of a historian and the Santa Barbara Historic Commission regarding the villa’s original foundation. The restoration of the Villa de la Guerra will serve as Rowland Hanson’s legacy to the state of California.
