About me
I hold a diploma in business and japanese studies. Therefore I have detailed knowledge about Japan and East Asia. My Japanese and English is fluent. Further I speak Russian and of course German. My interests vary from Intercultural communication, advertisement, marketing to art exhibitons, writing or Development work.
I started working as a freelance trainer for "Intercultual communication" especially for companies which are working in a Japanese business environment or which want to establish themselves on the Japanese market. Next to Japan another focus for training, coaching and market research is Russia. From October on I will probably be able to draw on resources from an originally japanese international advertising, design and translation agency, which is present Japan, China and Germany. Also from October 2010 I will, after having performed seminars at Univeryity Bochum and FH Duesseldorf, start regular weekly lectures about "Intercultual communication" at the course "Modern Japan" at the Heinrich-Heine University in Duesseldorf.
Further I work as a translator and interpreter for Japanese, English and German. I aslo founded a publishing house, publishing a biannually literary magazine called "Proto" and started curating art exhibitons in and around Duesseldorf.
For about three years I worked as a mediaplaner for the japanese advertising agency Hakuhodo in Duesseldorf. I was responsible for the German mediaplanning for numerous mainly japanese customers and for international coordination, e.g. Poland. Further I assisted account executives and art directors in the preparation of advertising campaigns.
At Bosch Automotive Systems in Japan I supported the Marketing and Sales Department for 6 months, but also worked closely with the Controlling department.
I wrote my thesis about credit unions in Poland and Kyrgyzstan. I did research in Kyrgyzstan and conducted a survey. This helped me getting an understanding of the markets in the former soviet states, about development work in general and the banking sector.
If you have ideas for collaboration, or if you're interested in art exhibitons, writing, if you look for a translator, a trainer, a pert-time media planner or if you have an interesting job offer, don't hesitate to contact me.
I'm always pleased to meet new people and to share my thoughts about various subjects.
With kind regards
Sascha Lück
