For more than a decade, entrepreneur, investment banking professional, and management consultant Scott F. Gelbard has operated in various facets of the financial services industry, building a solid reputation for versatility and excellence in his field. As an undergraduate at Fort Collins-based Colorado State University from August 1995 through May 1999, Scott F. Gelbard split his time between coursework in finance, business administration, and consumer science and real-world training at an investor relations firm. Following graduation from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Business Administration, Scott F. Gelbard co-founded Regency Financial, where he spent the next three years. At Regency Financial, he and his partners invested in and provided management consulting services to a range of companies, along with the marketing of emerging companies to the marketplace at-large. A few years later, Scott F. Gelbard and his colleagues launched the Regency Group, which maintained more of a focus in the areas of stock promotion and venture capital. After several years with the Regency Group, Scott F. Gelbard joined forces with a longtime business partner to found Apis Ventures in Denver. Since October 2008, Scott F. Gelbard has served primarily in a consulting and capital investing capacity through his work at Apis Ventures. As a member of the executive team at Apis Ventures, Scott F. Gelbard focuses his attention on opportunities in the biotechnology, green technology, natural resources, and other growing sectors, providing portfolio companies with a full spectrum of management consulting services.
