Offering both surgical and nonsurgical care, Dr. Sebastian Lattuga specializes in treating patients with conditions related to the spine. With experience in successfully assisting thousands of patients over the course of his career, Dr. Sebastian Lattuga utilizes his expertise in even the most high-risk cases. Together with his associates at New York Spinal Specialists, he maintains a commitment to delivering state-of-the-art service and techniques at his practice. In addition to his role at New York Spinal Specialists, Dr. Lattuga practices as Chief of Spine Surgery at Franklin Hospital, part of the North Shore-LIJ Health System.

Actively involved in his profession, Dr. Sebastian Lattuga maintains affiliations with various organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Nassau County Medical Society. Highly trained and educated, he completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the Stony Brook University Medical Center School of Medicine and an adult and pediatric spine fellowship at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida. Previously, Dr. Lattuga fulfilled a research fellowship and an internship in general surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Prior to completing his training, he pursued studies at St. John’s University and earned his M.D. from the Stony Brook University Medical Center School of Medicine.
