About me

I'm an English singer living in Munich. I began to sing fifteen years ago for the pure pleasure of it, but a career has developed, mainly due to the support of very good jazz musicians, and I now play at events all over Germany, Switzerland and Austria. I've also played jazz festivals in the UK in the past couple of years. I and my band play straight-ahead jazz, a bit old-fashioned perhaps, but I love those old songs with strong, meaningful lyrics.
We are jazz-orientated, but also play swing,rock, blues and golden oldies for weddings and events where people want to dance. I play at venues open to the public in the Munich area, both for fun, and so people can hear what we do. There is a possibility, however, that you could turn up somewhere where I've decided on a programme of folk-jazz and Burt Bacharach songs from the 60's!

I am also an antique dealer, mainly in vintage fashion and antiqe textiles including fans. I visit markets in France, the UK and Spain to track down for example19th century ribbons, 18th century gold lace and fans, Dior handbags and hats from the 50's and 60's, leather luggage and cufflinks.
I have a shop in Munich at Baaderstr. 53, in the Glockenbachviertel of Munich. I'm too lazy to have a functioning website for this!
