Biography as of Nov. 2009
Internet entrepreneur & strategic advisor for high-growth companies since 15 years, Yann is working closely with innovative leaders of tomorrow (internet, media, investors). Yann is a frequent advisor and public speaker on Internet topics. Yann was the Executive Director of the Web & Communities Summit, organised by the European TechTour Association in Geneva (http://www.techtour.com) in November 2007.
 
Yann is the Founder of MutualBenefits (business advisory network), Partner France of BLACKSOCKS and Partner ci prives in France where he launched FON (WiFi sharing community) and managed XING (ex-openBC) between 2004 and 2007.
 
Prior to these positions, Yann developped businesses such as Club-Internet (ISP sold to T- Online), Studio Grolier, web agency and NewsAlert, NY-based content aggregator (sold to DowJones) and recently managed operations of XING in France during 3 years. He managed operations in several countries including the US, UK, China, Taiwan, Hong-Kong & Singapore. Currently located in Paris, France, Yann holds a Master of International Affairs Management and practices Yoga.

1988 : car driver of a famous movie director (and his assistant for his last movie).
1994 : community manager (sysop) of a First Class BBS, Imagina Online, online community focused on, digital art, 3D, virtual reality, fractal pictures. Becomes father for the first time.
1996 : conceptualised, launched and managed online communities and websites such as :
