About me

I am a consultant, entrepreneur, adjunct professor and author. I founded my consulting practice, Marketing Edge Consulting Group, LLC in 1999 with the goal of providing creative business solutions to organizations, challenged by limited time and financial resources. My clients include individual entrepreneurs as well as small to mid-sized companies in the US and Europe, in industries ranging from finance and high-tech to academia, medical technology, and manufacturing. I help these businesses develop and implement solid marketing strategies and lead-generating sales programs.
 
I am the author of a book on small business and entrepreneurial marketing entitled: The Ultimate Small Business Marketing Toolkit, published by McGraw-Hill. More information about the book is available at my website: http://www.m-edge.com.
 
In addition to consulting, I am the Lead Instructor for the InnerCity Entrepreneurs’ 15-city, nationwide program designed to help urban entrepreneurs strengthen and grow their existing businesses. I have been instrumental in developing the 9-month curriculum and have taught the business accelerator program in Boston and in Worcester since its launch in the city in 2007
 
I am the Senior Associate for Distance Learning for the Institute for Technology Entrepreneurship & Commercialization at Boston University (BU) and run the school's $50K Annual Business Plan Competition. I also teach courses on Entrepreneurial Sales and Marketing at Boston University's School of Management, run BU's Online Certificate in Entrepreneurship (recognized by Fortune Small Business Magazine as one of the top e-learning entrepreneurship programs in the U.S.).
 
I have more than 23 years of sales, marketing, and business development experience and hold an MBA from Boston University and a degree in Economics and Sociology from Brandeis University.
