GADC (German Academic Development Center) is a program that prepares highly qualified engineers from Lebanon to fit the job market in Germany. The GADC program works in close cooperation with RWTH Aachen University, Sprachenakademie Aachen, the German Embassy in Beirut and the Chamber for engineers in Germany. In this program we learn the German language and we take part in management workshops and seminars at RWTH Aachen University.

As a consequence of the Beirut Blast that took place at the Beirut Port in August 2020, hundreds of thousands of units and building where damaged. I was part of a team of engineers working with contractors to rehabilitate and repair part of these units and to assist in helping families and households affected by the explosion and by the socio-economic situation in Lebanon.

As a Service & Commissioning Engineer, I managed the maintenance of the screening equipment at Beirut International Airport and ensured their reliability. I started as a Field Service Engineer where I gained technical experience and then I was held responsible for the Outbound project which consisted of installing and commissioning new x-ray machines, tray returning systems and personal screening equipment.

• Aircraft Maintenance Training at Beirut International Airport (MASCO): - Theoretical course on the aerodynamics and the different mechanical and electrical systems of the Airbus A319, A320 & A321 commercial aircrafts - On ground induction about the different departments concerned with maintaining and servicing the aircrafts at Beirut International Airport

• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly • Updating original maps with as-built using AutoCAD • Supervising contracted staff on site
