1)Failure analysis of scraps and improvements in scrap-identification of piezo-actuator production > Performed statistical analysis to sort various types of scrap parts identified > Used Shanin analysis to identify root cause of the problem and proposed changes 2) Perform trials for higher yield and lowering of costs in the sintering process. >Used different sintering set-up designs and carried out trails to identify the sintering parameters that yielded higher throughput

Responsibility: Developing business applications in coordination with sales team, customers and Research and Development > Established two new applications for fine grained ceramic grains in areas of technical ceramics and abrasives leading to 12 percent increase in revenue for the product line > Provided technical advice on product and process optimization for over 50 customers, globally, with support from RnD and sales team.

Responsibility: Develop new product variants and optimize process parameters Fulfilled: • Process and Operations Improvement at the heat treatment plant for Speciality Alumina powders, including overseeing of production capacity increase from 5 ton/month to 30 tons/month in a period of six months • Product development of ceramic fibers for high temp refractory applications and ceramic coatings
