Promoting the Madrid Trade Fair in Italy and recruiting Italian firms seeking to exhibit in Spain. Developing contacts with clients, providing negotiations and contractual mediation. coordinating marketing campaigns, organising events, identifying target audiences, selecting suitable media formats and channels, producing documents and presentations, enhance the effectiveness of materials, goal-setting, developing strategies.

Promotion and organisation of book launches, congresses and press conferences for one of Italy’s top publishing companies. Other tasks involved daily contact with Italian and foreign authors and journalists.

Coordinating and allocating hostesses during several international trade shows, exhibitions and congresses, ensuring that all materials and facilities needed were available and appropriate, including PowerPoint presentations. As an interpreter, I was regularly translating both technical and commercial communications.

In charge of a team of passenger assistants, I was coordinating and overseeing travel arrangements for up to fifty tour groups a day at two of Italy’s busiest airports. The job also involved allocating tasks to ensure efficiency, speed and a professional environment.

Graduated with top grade after writing a thesis on “Spy Thriller and Historical Manipulation in Robert Harris’s Fiction”, completed following interviews with the author.
