I ran and managed Market on Main in Maboneng Precinct Johannesburg. This involved: managing a small team of five employees; Social marketing for the Market; communicating with traders; basic accounting; ensuring the maintenance of market equipment and signage; representing the Market on Main at tenant meetings; Curating and interviewing market traders to ensure the market offering was held to the highest standard as one of the best-attended markets in Johannesburg.

Designing fabric prints, T-shirt prints, packaging design, point of sale collateral, liaising with printers and producers, writing press releases and creating social media content ranging from behind the scenes photography from fashion weeks to teasers for new product lines. engaging with external clients to create various outputs from social media collateral, publication design, branding, and corporate identity work.

Contributor to Another-Day, an arts and culture blog in Johannesburg South Africa. I covered events. Social issues and interviews with creators and tastemakers in the city of Johannesburg, as well as providing social analysis. Where appropriate I also took my own photographs for each piece or generated infographics and various other media as required

I helped Co-Run as well as Djed at a club night in Grahamstown South Africa. Tasks included finding venues, advertising, accounting, curating DJs, DJing, Creating a roadmap for the venture going forward.

I worked as a journalist for the campus newspaper while studying, covering arts and entertainment, general lifestyle, and politics. I wrote and delivered between 3-5 pieces every week supplying my own photography as necessary with each piece.

My master thesis was on Design within museum spaces and the discursive role it plays in the framing of history and heritage.
