The main focusses are to develop analytical and numerical tools to design, manufacture and optimize light weight metal and composite structures within the field of aerospace applications.

During the bachelor, the focus was on the design and optimization of air- and spacecraft in the topics of Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Structures, Materials, Performance and Space Mission Design. For this, the necessary knowledge is obtained in Calculus, Algebra and Differential Equations.
