Splendia is a third party booking site for luxury and character hotels, for which I managed existing, and opened new markets by analyzing destinations as well as visiting and contracting appropriate properties. I gained sales and revenue management knowledge and helped to increase profitability of my main markets by over 40%.

As the link between the sales force and TravelCLICK - the leading global provider of electronic distribution solutions to hotels - I help to acquire new clients and to provide current subscribers with performance evaluations. Due to my in depth Microsoft Office knowledge I facilitate the process of sending out personalized, promotional mailings as well as reports for properties to analyze current performance.

The world’s leading specialist hotel and hospitality consultancy firm quickly gave me the responsibility to work on own assignments. Projects consisted of visiting the property, calculating the hotel’s value and writing a 200 pages report on the analysis. I gained detailed finance insights.

I got an in depth picture not only of the several types of restaurants (selfservice, bistro, gastronomic and a restaurant of the Nestlé hotel) but also of the food and beverage department’s organizational aspects.
