Dr. Andreas Stein

Curious, passionate and highly motivated industrial scientist with a background in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry. Currently involved as a production implementation expert on limited term with the Bio2.0 project at Sanofi Aventis Deutschland in the area of compliance and process implementation, specifically regarding CIP / SIP systems, (Highly) Purified Water systems and waste management. Previous work included, as Head of R&D with a small API CMO in Lower Austria, leadership of a small R&D team, and encompassed chemical process development, improvement, scale up and thermal process safety investigation for both the production of fine chemicals and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) as well as being the responsible person for a cGMP-conforming purified water plant (USP/Ph.Eur.) and the establishment of a new HAZOP-concept.
