About me

My main interest lies with people, technology and marketing. A combination that will shape the future. New technology allows organizations to relate to their customers on a personal level more and more. And this will become more and more important. The power of new technology does not lie in the its capabilities to process information, or even in its power to get this information to others quickly. The power lies in the ability to relate to one another more closely. To build relationships and to make those relationships last. Based on being able to communicate based on the receivers' interests.

This whole priciple has been a focus of interest for me since I became part of my first social network avant la lettre in 1994. Even back then it was clear that the world was shrinking at a very fast rate. Today that has become even more of a reality with only laws and borders keeping people, companies and products limited to their own home contry or the trade group their country is a part of.

In the near future I am sure we will see a change in marketing which will value relationships more and more. Relationships between organizations and their customers, but also between customers themselves. All these relations will have a huge impact on the way people will decide on what products and services to get where, and how. Vendor Relationship Management is one of the steps towards this movement and I am sure we will see new models evolve that go beyond VRM as relationships on both sides dictate the way business is done. Of course, I am very interested in sitting down with you to talk about possibilities of human to human marketing for your organization.

As I believe that the best relationships are built when two people meet face to face, I am working on launching Meetial.com. A service connecting your network with the empty spaces in your calendar.

I hope we will meet each other soon. To see what opportunities there are for us to be working with each other.
