He led the group through a period of substantial change that included the launch of managed services and the local carve-out from Royal KPN, after the Dutch telco sold Getronics to private equity firm AURELIUS. During his tenure, he also drove the company’s traditional field service revenue stream to new growth and played an instrumental role in a major M&A transaction.

    Bernhard held sales operations and key account management responsibilities for industrial, automotive and energy companies. While in this role, he led a regional turnaround and generated significant growth for SIS through a restructuring of the business from product licenses to high-margin managed IT service projects and a transformation of the KAM function. As a result of this success, Bernhard was also appointed Head of Account Governance for Germany.

    Bernhard had global P&L responsibility for business with one of the largest EDS customers worldwide. He managed a dedicated account-based team (up to 140 staff) in the delivery of a full multi-site IT outsourcing engagement for the customer, including IT infrastructure, data center, production IT, telephony, application development and support. His efforts resulted in leadership levels of profitability and customer satisfaction as well as a multi-year contract renewal.
