Performed individual dietary analysis, meal planning and menu development, supported behavioral changes to reduce health risks. Studied the processes of organizational change and development in national and international NGOs, planned and implemented a field research in Romania and The Netherlands. Applied, for the first time in the history of the Social Work Department – the Grounded Theory research methodology and developed three main typologies of management styles specific to non-profit organizations.

Design and implementation of organizational change projects in community based charitable organizations

Planned, prepared, and delivered lectures and seminars on several topics: “Management of Non-Profit Organizations”, “Theory and Method in Social Work”; “Intervention strategies”. Participated in writing research proposals, papers and other publications. Attended and spoke at conferences and seminars. General administration duties: helped to organize and conduct departmental events, scheduled classes (coordinated the necessary resources).

Led and supervised the professional team (social worker, psycholog and educators), assisted with staff training and employee development programs. Represented the organization in relation to governmental institutions and accreditation boards. Assisted with licensing, regulatory and certification activities. Established collaborative arrangements with community groups, funders, etc. Participated in planning, implementation and evaluation of organization's services.

Recruited, orientated, trained, supervised, and evaluated the team of volunteers. Participated in direct coverage of activities with clients. Oversaw the hiring, development, supervision, and retention of qualified staff, including performance tracking and feedback. Implemented legal policies and procedures.
