I am following the principle ´guide the change instead of being guided by it`: Through my actions, I aim to contribute to the sustainable development of our society for the well-being of the planet. It is crucial to awaken and enhance the sustainable potential of our society which lies in people and the systems we create (like organisations in the private and public sector). I consider my position as Sustainable Change Guide because I assist people and systems on their way to sustainability by advising them on what sustainability means in their context and how they can become sustainable. For me, sustainability is achieved by coming into a state of balance. It is most important to base short-term actions on long-term considerations and the impact on the broader context, the effective use of resources as well as co-creative acting and solution-finding.

During this education, I experienced working in different departments of the hotel: reception, bar, restaurant, MICE, housekeeping, administration, reservation. This helped me to grow a diverse set of hard and soft skills as well as my confidence and, mostly, be an attentive, respectful host for people.

    Traveling carneval

    This was an exciting experience as I had the opportunity to work for a traveling carnival, going through small villages on the West coast of Australia. My position was to sell goody backs, which I was surprised by how popular they were. My mental arithmetic skills were highly challenged as I had to count quickly due to the huge crowds attend. This experience showed me that I am good at dealing with high pressure in a short time.
