I am assisting the author and coach Julia Marie Beckert in her latest book project as knowledge manager through: 1) analysing her interview data (inductive) and building categories to make the findings accessible 2) researching happiness from different scientific perspectives and building a science-based definition of happiness 3) organizing all data in an excel sheet

As part of the project team "SORMAS", I contributed to the implementation of the new corona reporting and administration software SORMAS within the corona department. The focus of my position in the team was 1) administration, organisation and communication 2) knowledge management and sharing (employee development) 3) process and interface management.

I really enjoyed this position as could be the host who gives the cinema visitors a pleasant experience. My main areas of responsibility were: 1) customer service 2) preparation of drinks and snacks 3) preparation and postprocessing of the field of work 4) statement of accounts

In this position, I was introduced to the work of a nature protection organisation and was able to improve a diverse set of soft and hard skills as I had to apply them in a new context. My main tasks were: 1) volunteer management 2) writing of press releases 3) event organization 4) administrative tasks 4) mapping of different bird species 5) assisting in workshops for children 6) practical biotope maintenance 7) social media management. I also liked how much I learned about urban ecosystems.

Again, I enjoyed stepping into the position as host by ensuring that the hostel guests have a pleasant and special stay. My main areas of responsibility were: 1) customer service 2) preparation of drinks and snacks 3) preparation and postprocessing of the field of work. I am happy to have had the opportunity to work with this kind, respectful and motivated team.

This was a special position as I was working for a social cafe. This means that this is a place with a social purpose and most of the service is deducted by volunteers. Hence, I was the only regular member of service staff per shift many times which is why I had a great responsibility. This was a great position for me to learn and grow a diversity of soft and hard skills as I had a diverse set of tasks and much creative freedom. Mostly, I was responsible for: 1) creation of the training catalogue for the next year 2) project planning and implementation e-learning tool about Yammer 3) administrative and organisational tasks human resources, marketing and other projects 4) cutting videos of monthly training sessions 5) assisting the execution of monthly training sessions for employees.

I did my bachelor in combination with a practical education as hotel specialist. I finished this programme with an official degree from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) with 87 out of 100 points. During this education, I experienced working in different departments of the hotel: reception, bar, restaurant, MICE, housekeeping, administration, reservation. This helped me to grow a diverse set of hard and soft skills as well as my confidence and, mostly, be an attentive, respectful host for people.

This was an exciting experience as I had the opportunity to work for a traveling carnival, going through small villages on the West coast of Australia. My position was to sell goody backs, which I was surprised by how popular they were. My mental arithmetic skills were highly challenged as I had to count quickly due to the huge crowds attend. This experience showed me that I am good at dealing with high pressure in a short time.

This master teaches a geographical, systemic approach to tourism planning. Skills acquired/enhanced: - Analytical and systemic thinking - Methods for solutions to complex problems like stakeholder analysis, scenario planning, social impact assessment - Project work as team and individual - Qualitative data acquisition and processing like creative research methods and inductive data analysis - Presentation of results such as scientific and argumentative writing, presentations, posters

This bachelor gave me an introduction to the field of tourism and arose my interest in destination governance, sustainable tourism as well as the connection between culture and tourism. Skills I developed/enhanced: - Independent working - Processing much information - Performing my own projects - Scientific and argumentative writing and communication - Presentation of results - Critical thinking
