Über mich

I recently graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Aeronautics. While attending school, I participated in various internships involving robotics, aerodynamics, technical documentation, and fluid dynamics where I gained valuable engineering experience. I also participated in the Arizona Space Grant program “Aerospace Scholarships to Challenge and Educate New Discoverers” (ASCEND) as Team Lead. Our year long project was a success among the roughly 20 universities who were involved. I recently moved from Arizona in the United States to Bochum, Germany to pursue my dreams of working as an engineer. I participated in an internship in Aachen in 2021 and fell in love with Germany. I love to travel and experience new cultures. I’m a hard worker and am very passionate about engineering and enjoy learning.

    DAAD Aerospace Engineering Intern

    DAAD - Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst

    • Studied at the Aerodynamic Institute of Aachen to investigate buffer conditions at various Mach numbers and angles of attack over an airfoil. Supported PhD students with various tasks such as wind tunnel operation, and high speed PIV camera setup and operation. • Post-processed data from wind tunnel testing using various techniques in MATLAB to find buffet frequency and eliminate background image noise using singular value decomposition techniques.

  • 4 Monate, Sep. 2020 - Dez. 2020

    Mechanical Engineering Intern

    National Aeronautics and Space Administration

    • Supported NASA Student Launch (SL) Team and NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC) Team by reviewing technical documentation and engaging with students across the country while conducting design review video conferences.

  • 5 Monate, Mai 2020 - Sep. 2020

    Mechanical Engineering Intern

    National Aeronautics and Space Administration

    • Worked with engineers in the electro-mechanical systems branch at Goddard Space Flight Center to create design tools for a modular robotic arm purposed for space applications. • Utilized MATLAB, SolidWorks, and Simulink to create programs to calculate forward and reverse kinematics, inverse dynamics, torque control via proportional-integral controller, and an exploratory script to automatically calculate the Denavit-Hartenberg parameters based on robot arm geometry.
