Managing the construction of special machines mainly for the assembly of plastic mouldings. The technologies often used are for part locating, pressing, screwing and for process control through PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), sensors and pneumatics. My main activities involve creating offers, co-ordinating activities during the project life cycle, monitoring project timing and keeping under control the project costs.

For the vehicles built in the Pre-series phases I have managed the re-work activities to bring them to Start of Production level and saleable as second-hand cars. My main activities: identifying the re-work requirements, estimation of the costs and timing plan creation, coordinating the re-work activities across the Support Functions (Fleet, Engineering, Quality, Certification, Sales), planning the materials and service suppliers.

I supported the activity of the Exterior Module Leader (mainly bumper systems, sills, rad-shell, mirrors, badges) during the development programs of the new generation parts. I was involved mainly in tracking a part of the project issues and driving periodical reviews and actions, within a cross functional team, with the scope of meeting the product implementation gateways.

Pre-project evaluations: required technology, timing and cost analysts; Coordinating the bidding process within public tenders (eligibility, technical offer and input for the financial offer); Managing the company's key projects (resources, costs, timing, deliveries and interface with the customer);

Improving the manufacturing processes on the seatbelt assembly lines by applying 6 (Six) Sigma and Lean manufacturing guidelines. Raising actions to reduce the defects rate, optimizing layouts and rebalancing/reducing lead times. Being part of the VSM (Value Stream Mapping) team and PFMEA reviewing team. Giving support within the line trials under the APQP/PPAP.
