Just Community e.V. is a non-profit organization that supports communities and people that contribute to communities in the information technology field. Together with Stepah Oetzel he is also founder and organizer of the biggest community event for software developer and IT-Pros in Germany (since 2005).

The responsabilities as a Software Architect at devcoach® include guidance and support of customers with strategy/architecture consulting and techincal leadership/prototyping focusing ASP.NET, ADO.NET, WCF, Workflow, BizTalk, Sharepoint, Azure and Oslo.

The ITERGO is the outsources IT department of the ERGO Insurance corporation. In the position of an external architect Daniel consulted the architecture board on decisions migration towards .NET 2.0/3.0 and a service oriented architecture (SOA). He also lead the Portal-Team which is responsable for the fieldworker information systems web front end.

Daniel was responsable for all web related topics including ASP.NET and founded and managed the newtelligence web competence team. He acquired, trained, consulted and lead or worked on projects of customers like Microsoft Corporation (USA), Microsoft EMEA, Microsoft Germany, Microsoft Portugal, Microsoft Poland, ITERGO, Deutsche Bank Wertpapier Services (DWS), Degussa, ABB, CSC, SAS, SAP.

For the federal office for security in information technology of the German government he and Michael Willers have created a security analysis and written practice-proven guidelines for the daily work with WCF. As experts for the topic “SOA with .NET” they traveled through Europe to discuss the requirements of architects from all over the world and help them implement solutions.

As a Software Engineer at newtelligence Daniel consulted and trained customers, spoke on conferences and published articles in magazines as well as accompanied clients on their projects.
