Project Manager Mobile Mapping

During my time as a freelancer I supported a variety of (international) companies with the analysis of geo-spatial related data. The goal was always to create quantitative results, but also presenting the data with maps and reports.

Investigating the feasibility to apply remote sensing on the estimation of cotton acreages and yield prediction in the Lake Zone Area of Tanzania. Furthermore, performing a pilot study of selected areas and assessment of the findings.

Support in data collection (aerial survey), mapping and visualization of results (Transects, human elephant conflict).

Support the development of GIS and remote sensing capability, analysis and outreach at FDT. Furthermore creation of several thematic maps and presentations of past and current projects at FDT (Iringa, Tanzania).

Creation of a webmapping frontend by using Geoserver and GeoExt. The data preparation was achieved through QGIS and ArcGIS. Furthermore, creation of map atlas series for different use-cases.

Realisation of webpages with regard to individual demands by using common web languages, such as HTML and CSS.
