KPMG-Client-Secondment to Zurich Financial Services Group’s internal M&A-department in relation to the 25-year strategic distribution agreement with Banco Santander S.A. in Latin America providing mainly Selling Purchase/Distribution and Shareholder Agreement assistance. Up-front price of USD 1.67 billion for 51% stake plus performance-based earn-outs payable over 25 years. Officially announced 22nd February 2011, signed 15th July 2011 and closed 5th October 2011.

Member of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG). Securitization Services in connection with CMBS/RMBS transactions in the UK being responsible for numerous collateral stratification processes and for giving Offering Circular / prospectus comfort. Portfolio Due Diligence in the course of performing-, sub- and non-performing loan portfolio transactions involving financial institutions in the UK, in France and in Germany (i.e. commercial banks, investment banks, building societies).

Financial Institutions Group – Member of the Financial Due Diligence team. Promotion from Associate to Senior Associate on 1st October 2006 (after 9 months). Providing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements in the financial services industry and on numerous real estate-transactions. Avising major financial institutions across Germany in the course of high nominal volume Non-Performing-Loans-transactions on both buy and sell side.

Preparation of high profile pitch presentations for potential clients (Financial Institutions across Europe and the UK) connected to Bond issuances and preparation of internal market updates (German Euro Swap-, US Treasury- and US Swap-Curves, ECB/Fed Interest Rate Forecasts). Assistance to the Real Estate Finance Team with the preparation of "Term Sheets" for high profile European Real Estate projects presented to the Credit Approval Committee.

Commerzbank Corporates & Markets / Summer Analyst - Equity Research. Assistance to several senior analysts in evaluating companies of the German TecDAX, MDAX and SDAX and preparation of detailed company and business secor analyses together with maintenance and further development of complex analysis tools (Excel) used as underlying decision tools for buy-/hold- and sell recommendations displayed in respective publications.

Analyses of 3rd-party high-profile external compensation surveys/studies in comparison with Microsoft’s compensation and benefits plan across selected EMEA countries and detailed salary and performance bonus budget planning (by office and department) for Microsoft’s fiscal year 2005 for the the entire EMEA region reporting directly to Head of HR EMEA, Head of Finance and Administration EMEA and Head of Compensations and Benefits EMEA.

Summer Analyst in the Managerial Accounting Department / EMEA Headquarters. Maintenance and further development of a compensation tool based on SAP R/3 and MS Excel including detailed analyses of sales performances across the entire EMEA region (by Apple store / sales representative / product line) reporting directly to the EMEA-CFO/Head of Finance, HR and Administration and to the Apple Headquarters in Cupertino, CA, USA.

Elected student representative in the Advisory Bodies of the University for the class 2005 of the ESCP International Stream (Paris-London-Berlin-track) including the University Council, Academic Senate, Faculty Council and Degree Council. Represented 140 students from 30 countries in front of these Advisory Bodies concerning educational improvement measures like relevant updates of the syllabus, social problems and general situation of the students’ performance.
