David Macavei

Part of the implementation team for the OECD TALIS Field-Trial Study, where I worked on the sampling process, study preparation, item analysis and data management. I was active in the preparation and fulfillment of the International Early Childhood Education and Care Conference held in Berlin, Germany (9.11.2016 - 11.11.2016). My day to day activities include text and presentation editing, gathering relevant scientific literature and working collaboratively on team projects.

While working at ActiveWatch, I initiated and conceptualized (alongside my colleagues) an educational project focused on promoting multiculturalism in art by facilitating intercultural dialogue between young artists and the public (“The Arts Citadel” Project). My responsibilities as a Workshops Coordinator included managing the logistics and materials acquisition, supervising the implementation of artistic workshops and coordinated and communicated with the Art Trainers.

I was responsible for managing the maimisto.ro website and the social media profile within the Project “Cojocna Civic Brigade”. At the same time I worked with my colleagues in planning and organizing community meetings between students and City Council representatives.

I organized and managed a large amount of documents relevant to the European project "Roma Professionals in the Medical Field".
