As a member of the Mobile Applications Group, I participated in research projects, contributed to international publications, engaged in acquisition of new projects and provided support during the strategy process of the organization. While working within a team, I also had the opportunity to take several leadership roles and represent ESK in 2 international consortia. I had to build up skills that allowed me to work on multiple tasks and projects in parallel. I also gained experience in guiding students.

I assisted the Market Intelligence team on current projects, performed targeted research and made recommendations. Understanding the motivation behind initiated projects and combining information from disparate sources, I gave insights into the current happenings and possible future steps that could affect Vodafone and the industry in general and help outline Vodafone's next steps.

I supported the porting of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) system functions and applications from an Infineon developed platform to Windows Mobile 5.0 platform for the Pocket PC using Visual Studio 2005 C++ .NET framework for mobile devices. I had deal with compatibility issues and the absence of certain functions in the compact Windows Mobile operating system (Win CE 2005 which used the .NET compact framework)
