I worked as a community interpreter in various settings (legal, medical, educational), translated documents for many Washington DC-based agencies, and assisted the head of the ASL Department in managing events and ASL/CDI interpreters.

I had the opportunity to learn about Legal Interpretation in a Court setting through lecture, observation time, interpreter shadowing, and hands-on experience on case and language research and project management. The program was designed to maximize collaboration with the current staff and interns. Staff interpreters consist of well-seasoned, certified and credentialed, or otherwise highly qualified interpreters, who are eager to support individuals new to the profession.

Dubbing, subtitling, and adaptation of movies, television series and documentaries from English to Spanish. Since that programming was going to be broadcast throughout Latin America, I tried to use a neutral Spanish as much as possible.
