    Application of ultrasound to enhance crystallisation rate of PLA (Bioploymer). Due to the renewable and biodegrable nature of PLA, research was conducted to increase its crystallisation rate by the application of ultrasound. Different techniques such as, compression moulding, injection moulding and the application of a sonotrode were employed in the research. Inorder, to compare the results, mechanical tests and DSC scans were conducted.
