Worldwide responsible for the supply chain improvement workstream of BG Lamps. This includes amongst others end-to-end lean, cycle time reduction and inventory reduction programs. Managing a team of 6 Black Belt and coaching various others in the successful execution of their project.

Responsible for implementation of a culture of continuous improvement. At the end of my assignment, I left behind an organization with 6 Black Belt (partly vacancies) , several green belts and a yearly business improvement competition (QIC). The defined improvement roadmap focused on end-to-end supply chain improvements and on-time reliability of the new product creation process. All elementary steps to make the change to become a global leader in consumer LED lighting.

As certified Black Belt responsible for various breakthrough projects aiming at inventory- and cycle time reduction and customer service improvement. Highlights: - Optimizing planning for factory in France: inventory reduction of > 2.5 M€. - Driving slow-moving stock reductions in the fluo lamps category (> 1.5 M€) - Implementation of demand-driven post-manufacturing packaging center by reducing cycle time from 15 to 3 days.

- Involved in optimization projects in linehaul scheduling and planning in express networks in Europe (a.o. domestic in Italy, Germany, Spain and international road network). - Guiding the development and deployment of an optimization toolbox in a number of express networks in Europe. - Managing a community of practice on linehaul scheduling and planning.

Researcher involved in industry consultancy projects: - Strategic analysis of the Factory Gate Pricing concept for a conglomerate of retailers in The Netherlands. - Proactive planning using telemetry for waste oils in the automotive industry. - Advanced planning concepts for routing of waste containers. - Judging transportation tariffs for carriers selection.
