As sole user researcher, my primary responsibilities are to: - Work with product team to plan research studies ahead of agile sprints - Conduct research studies including: foundational research observing scientists in the lab, usability testing of app and web interface, and churn interviews with customers - Lead customer insights meetings with sales, growth, product, and customer success teams to align on key user frustrations and delights with the product

- Conducted research studies to uncover user needs, identify opportunity areas, and establish design criteria to help clients differentiate their brand/product - Led all phases of a project from initial planning through data collection, analysis, and deliverable creation - Oversaw project teams of 2-3 Research and Design Associates - Managed day-to-day client communication Recent clients include: McDonald’s, Sonos, Samsung, & Boston Whaler Mentored new colleagues on design methods and best practices

- Led user interviews including in-depth qualitative interviews, intercepts, prototype testing, and customer co-creation sessions - Created data collection tools - participant activities and data capture forms - Analyzed data to identify opportunities and visualize insights through models, frameworks, experience maps, and presentations - Led the design of a web-based qualitative research database MOR™

Collaborated with project teams to tell compelling research stories in a variety of formats including: presentations, Flash animation, posters, booklets, and displays
