Working for the Strategic Global Accounting team providing audited investment accounting reporting for over 450 accounts on a monthly basis. My role included: • Providing detailed securities, derivatives and corporate actions knowledge to the team to ensure accurate trade booking and reporting for daily unaudited and monthly audited accounts • Reviewing and signing-off daily pricing and month-end reports

Working as a Unit Coordinator gave me a more in-depth understanding of FMC: • Create and amend existing FRED files and BATCH jobs to meeting client requirements. • Investigate and resolve reporting issues such as Statement of Change differences as well as system issues; for example reports not running correctly or producing incorrect figures

During the summer of 2006, the department was relocated to Manchester. My primary role in temporarily relocating was to ensure a seamless transition of departmental responsibilities from London to Manchester. I was responsible for producing departmental training documentation and giving formal system training to new starters.

I gained system knowledge of: • Running valuation reports including; test valuations, reports and SORPS using both drop-down menus and submitting BATCH jobs • A wide variety of the system’s analysis tools including; bank statements, report transactions, accrued income and dividend reports and audit trails
