I was recruited as Group Marketing and Business Development Manager. In the role I managed a newly recruited team of 3 UK based staff, including a Market Analyst, Brand Manager and Marketing Assistant along with dotted line responsible for overseas marketing executives. I sat on the International Group Sales Board and travelled extensively in Europe. The role worked closely with technical colleagues on the development of products.
This role headed up brand marketing and product management. With a total team of 16 consisting of two brand marketing teams, a product management team and a CRM team. Group Marketing budget was c£10m. The role was focused on ensuring the brand teams market themselves in line with strict corporate standards and product management launched products on time and also manage the PLC of products.
