I am working as a software architect for the Capture Systems Group

I work on developing REST APIs for a variety of databases and services as a contractor for the EPA.

I am a senior software engineer working on python development. I also work on our data science problems including algorithm development and data warehousing.

I helped with the setup and continue to help with the maintenance of their Moodle installation. I focused on the backend linux issues and security.

I taught undergraduate Physics and Astronomy courses. I specialized in hybrid course design and mixed mode teaching

I worked on Linux administration. I also performed user support on all platforms. I worked on all the services including DNS, NFS, mail, web, etc. In addition, I helped assemble the private cloud for our department.

I worked on computational studies of alpha-quartz. I also helped with some of the efforts to cross compile home brewed code and improve its parallel efficiency.

I worked on correlating exotic data sets together. This was over large data sets (20GB per day for 30 days). I achieved this with novel parallelization techniques and elementary map reduce techniques.
