Transferred from Division to Group Headquarters to assist in the realization of the Corporate goals to double the size of the Corporation. Responsibilities included researching, evaluating and pursuing new business opportunities as well as integrating and implementing successful acquisitions.

Managed a $10 million de-icer product line with direct responsibility for strategy and marketing and overall coordination of all other functional aspects of the product line. Also, developed a newly created position with responsibility for directing the Division's growth initiative.

Great Man-made River Project - responsible to the client for the commercial preparation and administration of contracts for the construction in Libya of a $3.2 billion irrigation project. Morecambe Bay Gas Field - commercial and financial responsibility for marine and labor contracts with an annual value of $20M.

Rapid promotion through positions of increasing responsibility within all sections of the Purchasing Department, ranging from Buyer to Head of Section to Deputy Head of Engineering Buying.
