•Maintain a secure and safe living environment for residents, including handling emergencies •Foster academic excellence and health by referring students to campus resources and providing guidance •Create and organize programs involving academics, community, diversity, and healthy living for students •Communicate and collaborate with staff members on programs, residents, and incidence in the hall •Allocate and budget funds for programs and events

•Facilitate events, organize presentations, and educate JMU students on multiple topics such as sexual health, eating disorders, stress management, sexual assault and alcohol/drug abuse •Complete training in multiple offices across campus, including Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices (OSARP)

•Take crisis calls, staff events, attend meetings, attend or facilitate training, and collaborate with other organizations, clubs, and offices •Present and facilitate programs on sexual assault and intimate partner violence (especially in residence halls, clubs, organizations, Greek life organizations, and classes) •Maintain all of CARE's social media, create effective advertising and videos, promote CARE to student body, staff, and faculty, advertise events and programs, outreach to other organizations

•Create and adapt appropriate, accessible notes and files for JMU students to use for their studies •Maintain and organize documents for students throughout the semester

•Coordinate and attend weekly meetings, maintain paperwork, outreach to student artists, provide resources and information on local artist opportunities •Assist in organizing art shows, create budgets, start fundraising campaigns assist president, mentor new members

•Coordinate meetings, assist in organizing events, consulted new members, and put together presentations •Create, update, and administer FBLA's website •Mentor rising members, manage budget for facilitating events, plan fundraising, and assist president in monitoring meetings

Majoring in Media Arts and Design, with a concentration in Converged/Interactive Media. Minoring in English and Women's and Gender Studies.
