A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is one that is made of several small devices, known as nodes, that are strategically distributed for the sake of performing a collaborative global task. By using WSN we can get information about a specific environment and, if needed, use the extracted information to make the necessary changes in this environment. Beengin offers the possibility of implementing this technology regardless of the final target environment.

Research activities in the fields of Internet of Things, Real Time Embedded Systems, and Omnet++ Network Simulator. Collaborative work in a book chapter with the name “Energy Harvesting on Human Bodies”. Design and configuration of 3D printers.

TinyOS, C, C++, Processing, Python and Java programming languages. CUDA programming. Matlab. LaTeX. Presentation of the results of the done work at international conferences. Wireless Sensor Networks as well as programming of wireless motes (TelosB, Arduino, Texas among others). Design and programming of communication protocols for Wireless Sensor Networks. Design and development of software interfaces for connecting different networks. Skills for working in a multidisciplinary team.
