Technical leader on Actonlytics project. Build data fetch pipeline with Celery for itembase's DataConnect REST API and stored this data to run calculations on top of MariaDB and Elasticsearch. All this was developed in just 3 months with production-grade frontend (HTML5/LESS/jQuery) and useful data for several hundred shops that signed up.

A social inventory and product review service. We got accepted into the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator Berlin in September 2015 among just 6 other companies. I built the frontend as well as backend architecture with Django REST Framework, Celery, Elasticsearch that deploys via Fabric and uses Chef configuration management to run on an Azure Ubuntu cluster. Meanwhile this also powered iOS app with data that I briefly contributed to with Objective C.

I plan, design and implement web applications with latest technologies. I have experience with HTML 5, XHTML, CSS, MySQL and sqlite databases, Python, Django, jQuery, Cassandra, Celery.

As the chief technical person at Uhura (formerly Freshmilk) I led the development of our web tv platform and scaled it to peak usages of 100k visitors/hour. I coordinated development efforts for own products at Freshmilk NetTV as well as all agency projects at Uhura Creative Media. When I was not deeply into code myself, I set up roadmaps and scheduled and supervised the work of our full-time and freelance developers and interns.

Responsible for fraud, monitoring fraud levels and behavior of fraudulent users, writing product specifications, improving client-facing customer support frontend, helping the product team with technical knowledge. Evaluated CMS for corporate websites and set it up in coordination with designers and IT ops. Additionally writing master thesis about device fingerprinting methods.

Responsible for all technical aspects of the site, development, keeping site alive, designing/implementing new features, corporate identity, site design, etc. Developed shop and payment solution. Scaled the site for 50,000+ users. Exit to LSL AG Leipzig in March 2010. This was done with the early versions of Django, with Python, HTML, jQuery (initially script.aculo.us), Amazon Product APIs (SOAP/WSDL).

Developed a Python web application that connects to an SAP system via SOAP/WSDL to manage liability cases for a real estate company.
