Ken Alder

As Research Specialist for Akuaint, I hold full responsibility for proactively targeting and researching all 1st/2nd Tier Banking, Commodities Trading and Food Manufacturing organisations across the UK, Europe and The United States. My primary role is to build a strong base of professionals and a full understanding of the markets allowing me to provide effective solutions to agreed timescales and quality standards.

Working within IT, Engineering, Marine/Offshore, Telecoms, Sales/Consulting and Finance, I was able to utilise the skills I had gained over the past 5 years to build successful relationships, manage high profile clientele and work with some of the most talented professionals in today’s UK market. I was also able to pull from the in-depth experience and knowledge of my colleagues to help deliver fast, effective solutions to IT/Telecoms requirements at all levels from Helpdesk Support to Snr Level Management.

After running the contract desk for almost a year, it had become clear that the biggest opportunities for me were going to come from the permanent market. I had established relationships with clients whom were able to provide me with more permanent roles than contract and so I stepped into this post instead. I held full responsibility for running a 360 desk and effectively my own business utilising my unique ability to build quick, strong relationships with both clients & candidates across multiple areas.

I made the decision to step from Resourcer to Consultant and Eurotime Solutions offered me this opportunity within a smaller, niche environment. My aim was to utilise the skills and knowledge that I had gained from my time at Robert Half to move into a more demanding and simultaneously beneficial (lucrative) position. Still working within IT but specialising in contract employment within the financial markets, I was provided with a partially developed desk to grow (Specifically Life & Pensions).

I was employed to undertake all resourcing and administration duties for the UK division of Robert Half Technology; an area of the business that has proven highly successful and become a market leader in the US. The focus of my post was to find suitable, multiple level and highly skilled IT professionals to be placed within various blue-chip organisations throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe and the Middle-East.
