SMARTRAC is the leading, global company in the field of RFID technology that makes products smart and enables businesses to identify, authenticate, track and complement product offerings with digitally based services and link objects with customer’s IT systems and the internet.

Working in a Corporate capacity, I provide HR expertise to international Business Partners and Local HR in terms of talent management, succession planning, retention, organizational development, training and development, and performance management. Working on a local level, I undertake all aspects of HR, included recruitment, contract negotiation, payroll and benefits, and Expat administration for our Hong Kong entity.

I enrolled in an intensive Deutsch course at the local VHS to improve my language skills before searching for a new job.

As the sole representative for the HR function, I provide accurate and timely support, advice and guidance to the senior leadership team and workforce in Brisbane and on site. My particular responsibilities lie in managing the Attraction and Retention programmes for the Company, focusing on best practice and achieving the Company’s strategic and performance related goals.

As a Senior Consultant I was required to build and manage relationships within new and existing accounts, consult to Clients and lead consulting teams to produce the services that Confiance Australia provides. The position was multi-dimensional, driven by client and business needs.

The purpose of my role as Consultant was to assist the consulting project teams to produce the products and services offered to clients. Key results areas included revenue generation, cost control, research, development and data analysis.

As a Graduate Consultant I assisted the consulting team in various administrative, development and research capacities, whilst familiarising myself with the Company, HR field, mining industry and consulting service offerings.

I volunteered in the Faculty of Engineering, Physical Sciences and Architecture and was involved in the recruitment, immigration and advertising functions of the department, providing administrative support and assistance as directed.
