As the most senior executive in Continuous Improvement (CI) Europe the position holder is responsible for establishing a CI organization, working with Senior Management to Plant Operations and network to deliver the maximum value creation in manufacturing for Novelis Europe (12 Plants, ~ 4.800 employees) through Lean/Six Sigma tools. Major challenges are the deployment of lean manufacturing across Europe (coordinating, engaging and coaching resources) as well as liaising with the global CI organization.

As the most senior executive in Industrial Good (IG) business the position holder is responsible for determining the strategy of the organization within the regional/corporate guidelines and total profitability of the independent Industrial Goods business including factory. The General Manager Industrial Goods is responsible for Sales, Production, Maintenance, Process & Development, Planning and Controlling. The Revenue is about 25 Mio. €, the volume 3kt, about 100 employees.
