I am currently working as Recruiter a.i. for Shell. This project entails the recruitment of a variety of candidates with an IT background. Working for one of the biggest Oil & Gas company’s in the world gives me an insight in a new field of work and experience in recruitment of IT staff.

Recruitment Consultant a.i at T-mobile

I was outsourced via People4Office to work as Recruitment Consultant at T-mobile. I managed the entire recruitment process for all the Operations departments (IT, Sales and Marketing). Attended meetings with Hiring managers and took care of contract negotiations. T-mobile is one of the three biggest players in Telecom, which made it a highly demanding, fast-paced place to work.
In this role I was responsible for coordinating and implementing different types of Salestraining programs. Varying from the onboarding of new employees to setting up new training programs for our existing salesreps. We developed training programs, fitting the needs of employees as well as the needs of the company. Next to the development and implementation, I had to manage the trainers.
In eight months I was promoted to Senior Recruiter, which included headhunting for senior profiles via Linkedin and placing candidates for management positions. I was also responsible for managing/training the Junior Recruiters in my team. I worked closely with our Marketing team to use Social Media in an effective way for Recruitment. We also organized inhouse-days to recruit young professionals and worked closely with schools and Universities (campus Recruitment).
I was asked to set up the Recruitment department for the Netherlands. When we started hiring over 30 employees per month, we could see the company grow fast and I had to develop a Recruitment strategy to provide the company with the right employees. Groupon was a real startup company which gave me the opportunity to invent and implement everything myself. I’m proud of playing a big role in building the company and making Groupon grow from 25 employees to almost 400 in less than 2 years.
