I joined Joss Search as a Candidate Manager for Europe in October 2022 after spending four years working as a Primary School Teacher. We specialise in recruiting EAs, PAs, office managers & those in other secretarial roles within the Private Equity and Alternative Investment sectors. I work closely with my colleagues Jacqui Hauser, Hiie Nõmm and Ellen Wheeler in Frankfurt, Munich and Paris, respectively, to find those hidden heroes that we champion every day. As a team, we also work closely with our London and New York colleagues to put the right people in the right places, globally. We understand the importance of those who work tirelessly behind the scenes within Europe’s leading PE and AI firms. Our responsibility is to advocate for them by celebrating their truly unique potential and putting them at the forefront of our mission; ‘Championing Hidden Heroes’!

My role as a class teacher held many responsibilities in addition to teaching. I thrive in supporting and guiding others to constantly improve their performance. I used my initiative to mentor a trainee teacher for eight weeks in 2021. I enjoyed working with the trainee teacher and reflecting on my professional development during this time.

In the New Year, I was offered a permanent role within the Ladieswear Department. The key roles of my job included working on the till, serving customers, running the fitting rooms and ensuring customers had a pleasurable shopping experience whilst also restocking the clothes on the shop floor.
