Lena Bischoff

I am part of the research team at the chair for innovation management at Hohenheim University. In my position as research assistent, I am supporting the research team to conduct a Delphi study on dedicated knowledge for sustainable transitions.

My position as Innovation Manager at Sony Music Entertainment Germany (SME) includes a diverse range of tasks and projects which help to promote the innovation culture within the company. I am also part of the international SME Innovation Board, which further enables me to work in a creative and forward-thinking environment.

Working part-time in the innovation & digital technologies department in the GSA region to complement my master’s degree in the field of innovation management. This position enabled me to experience the business as well as education world simultaneously. It also helped to implement the learned theory from my lectures directly into the daily business at Sony Music Entertainment Germany.

My 6-month internship at Sony Music Entertainment Germany included various tasks within the business development department. During my internship I also had the ability to write my bachelor thesis in the field of GDPR in the music industry as well as getting in contact with the Innovation Board/Management for the first time. Following I started to work for the innovation & digital technologies department as well as starting my master’s degree in management & innovation.

The position Head of Marketing included the following tasks: - Management of all social media channels - Management of the KarlsBeratung website - Management of the KarlsBeratung blog with reports about workshops and other achievements - Content management and creation for all online sites - Implementation and internal workshops for new marketing ideas - Production of a marketing film for recruitment purposes - Recruitment campaigns for new and younger students

I joined the KarlsBeratung at the beginning of my study program at Karlshochschule and was able to realize several project in my position as consultant in the student lead consultancy. One of these projects was the development of a website for a tennis club including the content creation with adequate pictures and text as well as the IT development.

During my bachelor’s degree I have been a working student at Megapart GmbH in the support unit. My position enabled me to closely work with all recruiters and the accounting department. Additionally, I was responsible for the maintenance of the internal database which included working with recruitment tools like LinkedIn and Xing.

Before starting my bachelor’s degree, I did an eight-week internship in four different departments at Conttek GmbH. This second internship helped me to experience the departments HR, purchasing, sales and controlling for two weeks each to gain another insight into these different business units.
