Reponsible for: - complaint data capturing across the local market organizations (procedures, tools, training) - analysis of complaints to discover trends - collaboration with life cycle management for root cause analysis, action definition and effectiveness measurement

- Identification of data sources, data integrity check and ETL (finance data, service repair data, R&D tools, sales data,... ) - Definition and automatisation of standard reporting, including KPI reporting for management, Service, Q&R, R&D - Development and maintenance of an internal online reporting portal - Development and maintenance of various tools to support colleagues in their daily work - Trending analysis - ad hoc data requests - Software Validation

Prepare and chair risk assessment meetings, in which an interdisciplinary team revises pre-market risk estimations, based upon post-market incidents. A change in risk estimation might result in a manufacturing stop, customer warning letters or field actions. I took this additional responsibility next to my data analysis job (work load is about 1 day/week).

Customer complaint handling is both addressing customer's problems and strong regulatory requirements (e.g FDA 21CFR820.198). My main responsibilities: - setting up data analysis tools during the start of this new department - project team lead (5-10 people) to resolve a large backlog of complaints - responsible for the implementation of a new complaint screening procedure, including training of 35 newly hired colleagues in 15 countries (training was partly on site, partly over video conferencing)

Design, implementation, test and validation of image processing software for radiology and fluoroscopy. Main programming languages used are C and Ruby. Benchmarking of image quality in clinical environment. Cooperation with clinical partners and the Philips research department.

Thesis title: Computational strategies for biomechanically based simulation of soft tissue deformations in the female breast The research was part of a cooperation of the engineering department and the radiology department of the university hospital.

Internship in software development: implementation of Java GUI and conversion of applications into applets.
