I help sheet metal workers in the Benelux and Austria with the automation of engineering and work preparation departments so that they move faster from design to production (and receive automatic feedback on progress from the workshop). It also helps to minimize manual activities and to get a realistic picture of the cost price of parts.

As a business improvement engineer I was responsible for translating the entrepreneurial vision of the owner into applicable solutions within the CAD, ERP and MES software. This function has grown from our own practice such as programming the laser cutting machines and designing sheet metal parts.

As an employee at the technical department I was responsible for optimizing and improving a production line at a major customer in the packaging industry. The key was to translate practical knowledge into structured insights. Also carried out various maintenance activities in the factory and prepared CAD drawings.
