I work on serveral projects regarding chromatin and epigenetics. I combine data analyzes of high throughput and genome wide data with simulations to get a mechanistic understanding of the process leading to special chromatin states and their dynamics. Comparing data for different species, I also aim to understand the evoluonary aspects of these processes.
