Manal Issa

With over 20 years of experience in institutional advancement and nonprofit management, Manal Issa has consistently contributed to educational and philanthropic initiatives in the Middle East. As Vice President for Advancement at The American University of Kurdistan (AUK), Manal played a pivotal role in establishing its advancement office, ensuring a robust foundation for the institution's future growth, and was deeply involved in the strategic planning and execution of AUK's endowment initiatives during her tenure as president. Holding a Master's in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University and an MBA from Birzeit University, Manal's expertise encompasses donor relations, digital transformation, and organizational development. Beyond her academic contributions, she has mentored emerging leaders in the nonprofit sector, served on various boards, and championed arts and culture initiatives.
