Duties included greeting visitors, answering and screening phone calls, and performing general office functions for the chief academic officer of the college. A large component of this internship was completing special projects that required extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs. A high level of confidentiality was necessary in the day to day work, as well as the ability to deal effectively with students, college employees, and community residents.

Duties included collecting payments and fees as well as providing information to students regarding their account balance, payment options, and financial aid disbursements. A high level of confidentiality was necessary in the daily work as well as the ability to handle a large sum of money with integrity. Excellent customer service and problem solving skills also played an essential role in the position.
