Collaborating closely with product developers to create well fitted garments of all commodity groups. Creating first patterns from scratch/block library. Correcting and amending patterns according to fit and style comments. Managing and updating block the pattern library, pattern overviews and graded specs. Building a modular 3D library and supporting it's implementation in the excisting work flow as a 3D super user.

The role involved creating orders, maintaining product master data, assisting in setting up condition contracts with suppliers as well as communicating daily with them concerning sample requests, order approvals and deliveries. Researching on trends, new brands and competitors to ensure customer satisfaction. Duties also included providing guidance on styling for shop imagery and marketing campaigns, pre-selecting of key styles and checking onsite image quality.

Shadowing pattern makers in their daily work. Organising fitting sessions, preparing and measuring samples as well as converting CAD data for suppliers. Translating aquired pattern knowledge into personal projects: realising two styles from inital idea to end product.

Supporting the product development process from concept to bulk production for various Kiomi and Pier One menswear styles. Preparing styles for fittings, checking measurments, trims and workmanship, assisting during fit sessions and issuing fit/style comments. Responsible for updating the BOM/PLM system, checking care labels and conducting wash tests to ensure quality standards.

Learning handmade manufacturing techniques. Preparing first proto samples and creating accessories for various theatre productions in Berlin, the most notable being "The Wyld" preformed as Friedrichstadt-Palast.

Duties included mending costumes, manufactuuring accesoires as well as organising the fabric- and stock room.

Responsible for preselecting and dying fabrics, liasing with local companies to invite offers and assisting during fitting sessions.

Gaining an insight in different job families around producing a theatre play. Taking individual body measurments, altering costumes as well as manufacturing and retouching sets and props.
