I use highly immersive virtual reality (various and HMD and Cave Systems) and augmented reality (MS Hololens) as well as more classical field and lab studies.

The aim of my work is to contribute to a better understanding of human behavior in emergency situations. I am particularly interested in how people affect each other in their evacuation behavior and how we can improve evacuation outcomes.
