• Developed a prototype of 5G Cloud Software using the C programming language and modify Linux kernel according to test specific case • Analyse the 5G CRAN software performance in the virtualized (e.g. Docker) environment • Organization and liaison of the research project, incl. coordination and support of all involved participants

• Compile the real-time kernel of Linux and prepare the OS for VNF deployment and process runtime acceleration • Tested virtualization of CRAN software modules using LXC and Docker running on both shared and distributed platform • Mapped internetworking of NFVs running on different servers via Open vSwitch and using Unix socket programming • Showcased automated software deployment and runtime environment creation using shell script and ansible
